Mark Clarke believes that everyone in Britain needs to face up to the challenge of climate change.
This requires all Tooting residents to make personal commitments to reducing carbon emissions. The smallest action can make a huge difference - with anything from increasing the amount of household waste that is recycled, to offsetting carbon emissions.
Mark drives a Toyota Prius, which is a hybrid fuel car so is less of a burden on the environment.
The local Conservative-run council already give reduced parking charges on hybrid fuel cars - as well as running the Green Champion scheme.
A Conservative Government would implement policies to encourage environmentally friendly behaviour.
