Mark Clarke with Cllr Alex Jacobs reporting flytipping in Tooting Ward

Mark Clarke believes a major part in the fight against crime and anti-social behaviour is tackling the environment for crime.

“Broken windows” theory states if you let the so-called “victimless” crimes such as graffiti, fly-tipping, public drunkenness, youths causing havoc on mopeds and literal broken windows go unchallenged, it creates an environment which fosters further crime, escalating in seriousness.

To that end, Mark is backing the local Conservative-run Council in their latest drive to remove all graffiti from the area.

This approach, coupled with robust, 24/7 neighbourhood beat policing will deliver real results for the Tooting area and Mark will continue to campaign for the resources and mandate that is needed to make Wandsworth safer.
