You wait for ages, then three buses come along at once. Sadly, from Trinity Road, none of them will be going directly where you want go.
Local Conservative campaigners Mark Clarke and Richard Tracey are running a petition that calls on Transport for London to introduce new routes from the Trinity Road and Wandsworth Common area to run across the river towards Parsons Green.
Many local residents have contacted Mark and Richard upset at how limited the bus services are for the area. In particular, people wanting to travel north of the river find it extremely frustrating to frequently have to travel out of their way and change at Clapham Junction first.
Commenting Mark Clarke said, "it is ludicrous to make people travelling from Trinity Road go via Clapham Junction to get to Fulham or Kensington. Wandsworth Common residents deserve a fairer deal from TfL and that means bus routes that people actually want."
Richard Tracey added, "the former Labour Mayor's approach to transport was all wrong. He spent a small fortune on bendy-buses and the Congestion Charge, yet he was unable to get the routes right in the first place!"
Yes! I wish to sign Mark Clarke and Richard Tracey's petition for improved bus services from Trinity Road, including a direct route to Parsons Green:
