| Bus over the Bridge to Fulham Survey launched | |
|
The campaign to get a bus up Trinity Road, across Wandsworth Bridge into Fulham is continuing. Transport for London came back with a proposal which would have seen a bus go up Trinity Road to the bottom of Wandsworth Bridge but not across the river. Passengers would then have had to change and get another bus to Fulham. This would be an improvement but it is just not good enough. So Wandsworth Council, Mark Clarke and local Assembly member, Richard Tracey, asked Transport for London to think again.

Following the distribution of an anonymous leaflet, some local residents have raised concerns about a possible increase in size of a local Gypsy and Traveller site. For decades there has been a small travellers’ site in Earlsfield at the end of Trewint Road on the banks of the River Wandle. These travellers are well integrated into the local community. Indeed one “traveller” on the site has actually lived there for over thirty years. Read More |
