Bus over the Bridge to Fulham Survey launched |
Posted on Jan 29 2010 |
The campaign to get a bus up Trinity Road, across Wandsworth Bridge into Fulham is continuing. Transport for London came back with a proposal which would have seen a bus go up Trinity Road to the bottom of Wandsworth Bridge but not across the river. Passengers would then have had to change and get another bus to Fulham. This would be an improvement but it is just not good enough.
So Wandsworth Council, Mark Clarke and local Assembly member, Richard Tracey, asked Transport for London to think again.
Now we really need to put the pressure on them. We already have Wandsworth Council on board. Mark wants to make sure that we get Hammersmith & Fulham Council supporting the campaign too. That will mean that we will have two Councils putting double the pressure on Transport for London.
To help get their support we need to show them why the bus will be good for businesses in their Borough. This survey is a critical part of that campaign. Please do click here to fill it out and please send a link to your friends who live in the area. Mark will then use the information to get the support of Hammersmith and Fulham Council for our bus route.
