If only our Government were as good as our Council |

Recently Mark met up with the Leader of Wandsworth Council to review the state of our local finances. Cllr Edward Lister explained how the Audit Commission recently said the Council had some of the best public services in Britain. Everyone knows that the Council has the lowest Council tax in Britain. But not everyone knows that the Council is free of debt. Let’s be honest it’s such a contrast with our Government which has high taxes and a huge debt. If only our Government were as good as our Council.
